Well, 2008 is wrapping up with me behind as usual. I know I have been slack getting stuff posted of late. Not because I haven't wanted to, but because I've been out having fun and not spending so much time in front of the computer. (I'm even behind in work related stuff, too... gulp!)
Julie and I went to Myrtle Beach last weekend (20-22), I went to Tennessee to visit Mom and Tony this weekend (26-29) and I'm leaving for California tonight to visit Uncle Melvin and will return on January 9. Uncle Melvin called me the day before Christmas and told me he'd gotten me tickets for a seat in the grandstand for the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena as well as bus tickets to and from the parade. How cool is that?!! (Speaking of the parade, when I was visiting with a few folks at Deanna's on Christmas day, everyone mentioned I should wear a bright shirt so you can try to see me if they show the grandstand on TV. Well, I have a tangerine shirt that I'm going to be wearing. I'm hoping that it will be warm enough that I won't need a jacket. This is going to be so much fun!)
So today is a day for packing and trying to wrap up a few work related items. I'm also going to try and get a few photos posted here and there. We (Julie and I) received a bunch of photos from Kristie and Natalie (oh my gosh, Breck is so big) and Aubin sent the cutest Christmas photo card that I can't wait to post (her kids are about the most beautiful ever and her photos are brilliant at catching their personalities). I'm hoping I can get a couple of these posted before I leave for the airport today. If not, look for them when I return.
So with this post, I'll leave you with a couple photos from South Carolina.
Julie included this photo in some of the Christmas cards she sent out.
This is one of the great photos Molli took that same day - but the other kids weren't cooperating in this photo - so I cropped them out. This is the happiest baby you will ever see. Just about the only time she is fussy is when she needs her diaper changed, is hungry, or wants someone to rock her to sleep. She is a gem and she has us all wrapped around her little finger. Love that girl!
Ciao for now!
