I took some photos of Molli at six months old (March 16) and created a few layouts of the photos with some things I'd like to remember. I hope you enjoy them.

I'm not sure whether you will be able to read the journaling so I'm going to post it here:
Precious Molli Blou, these photos were taken the exact day you were six months old – March 16, 2009. We draped one of Grandma Julie’s blankets over the pack-n-play like a little mini-photo studio, set you on the blanket and I started shooting away. You’ll notice that you are not looking at me in very many of the pictures because lying to the right of me on the floor was your Uncle Jace and lying to my left, was your Aunt Jae, Papa Jason and Mommy… all talking, making faces and trying to get one of your prize-winning smiles. You just kept looking back and forth, back and forth, trying to decide who to watch. It was hysterical. Looking back, I wish I’d had Grandma Julie take a picture of all of us taking pictures of you! These are the things I always want to remember about you, precious baby girl, at this wonderful age. You are oh so happy – you wake up happy, when someone talks to you you’re all grins, you play in your chair (this funny contraption your mom bought with toys all around) and you are happy laying on your back on the floor. You go crazy when you see Papa Jason. I definitely think he is your favorite person in the whole wide world, except for Mommy maybe. Your whole body vibrates, squirms, spasms, wiggles when you see or hear Papa Jason. If you see him and he moves out of your line of sight, you’ll do almost anything to move your body to see where he went. You love putting your hands and bare feet on his whiskers. You definitely love you some Papa. And you love funny, goofy, silly noises. It is totally funny. I make this silly chicken noise and you love it. It drives your Grandma Julie nuts and I do get some strange looks if I’m making that noise while we are walking through the store, especially if the other person doesn’t see you in your car seat in the shopping cart! But I don’t care – Grandma Julie can be annoyed and others can think I’m “touched” – as long as I get a dimpled grin out of you I am one happy Auntie. Your Aunt Jae and Uncle Jace are tightly wrapped around your little finger. Nearly every night one of them will ask, “Is Jess coming over?” What they really mean, “Is Jess coming over and is she bringing Molli and when is she (Molli) going to get here?” LOL… you are one loved little girl, Miss Blou. There are a couple of things that definitely send you into a tizzy… like laying on your tummy, needing your diaper changed, wanting to be fed, or when you are really sleepy. But you are easily mollified – hah, I like that word… MOLLI-fied – just turn you over, change your diaper, feed you IMMEDIATELY, or hold you close, give you a paci, turn out the lights and rock you – I also find that you like my humming/singing , even if it does annoy your Grandma Julie. 8-D You rolled over for the first time on February 1 at your Cousin Audrey’s house in Jacksonville, NC. We were there celebrating Adeline’s first birthday. The trip to Cousin Audrey’s was really long for a little girl, but you stayed awake and “talked” with us and let me take your picture. You never once complained about wanting out of the car seat. You are such a trooper. You love sucking on your bare feet; okay, so you will suck on socked feet too, but you prefer bare. Of course, you pretty much suck, chew, or gnaw on anything, but your feet are your favorites. Along with the gnawing is an unbelievable amount of drool. I mean, seriously girl, you are one saliva-producing machine. My favorite is when you slobbered all over your fist – while gnawing on it – and then you stuck it in Aunt Jae’s mouth! LOL… I thought she was going to gag. The only down side to all that drool is one night you were in your car seat with Mommy and Daddy and they think you stopped breathing. They guess that all that saliva went down your throat and kept you from breathing. You were limp and turned blue, totally freaked your mom out. She and your Papa Jason took you to the doctor’s the next day, but they said you were fine. (I should add you have completely turned your mother’s world upside down, not sure I would have believed it if I hadn’t seen it. She is head over heels in love with you… as we all are.) You are a good baby at church, sometimes you start “talking” during prayer but you are never fussy and everyone who sits around us is always amazed at how good you are. You spend every Saturday night with your Grandma Julie and Papa Jason. Then you go to church with us on Sunday morning. Getting out of the house on time is sometimes a challenge – not because of you, you can blame that on Uncle Jace and Aunt Jae – but we have our “favorite” section in the balcony and we know we have to get there early to get a pew in our section. (We love our ushers, Bill and Laura.) You are fascinated by your hands, you will look at them and study them and move them into the weirdest positions, it’s funny to watch and I wish I knew what you were thinking. It’s almost like – what are these strange contraptions that keep moving in and out of my vision and I don’t think you have quite figured out that they are attached to your body. Your head is shaped like your daddy’s head (and your Grandma Angie, too), it’s kind of a longish and flat on the back like no one ever holds you and all you do is lay on your back. Well, girl, get that thought out of your head, it’s genetics plain and simple. We have affectionately started calling you “milk dud” in honor of your head. (You have other nicknames but I’ll save those for another layout.) You are growing and growing… you weigh 14.11 pounds, your mom can sling you around in that car seat like nobody’s business but you are almost getting too big for me to do that and I noticed your Papa Jason is usually huffing and puffing after he carries you into church. Your eyes are the darkest blue and you are starting to get quite a bit of light brown hair and your mother swears it has an auburn tint to it. These are just some of the things I always want to remember about you at this age. You are adorable little lady and you have us all under your spell. I love you, (Great) Aunt Laura.
Here is another layout from a photo taken that same day highlighting Molli's propensity for drooling. I hope you can see the string of drool going from her lower lip to the bottom of the photo.
